Comfort Infant Seat Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG), in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, is conducting a recall for the handle trim screws on the Comfort Infant Car Seat. Dorel Juvenile Group is also conducting a Customer Satisfaction Program regarding the car seat base. Some consumers have had issues with the screws on the handle trim loosening or coming out. To address this, DJG will send a repair kit for the handle which will include a set of replacement screws that have been revised to correct/prevent the screws from loosening or coming out. Your kit will include complete instructions. Some consumers have also been unhappy with the compatibility of the base in certain vehicles and also have experienced difficulty during installation. DJG will replace the original version of the base, at no charge, with an updated base. The Comfort Infant child restraint system meets all applicable Federal Safety Standards.
